Wide Area Test System (WATS)

WATS is an off the shelf Test Data Management software, produced by Virinco, which easily integrates with NI TestStand and other test applications. WATS automates test data management and makes test and production data accessible through your web browser. WATS can scale from a single test station to collecting data globally from your production sites.

TBG are currently the only National Instruments integrator offering WATS services in the UK. Through our advanced training, we are able to provide both consultancy and implementation for your WATS needs. A demonstration is available below:

With quality control sometimes restricted by geography, WATS can help to ensure you meet production requirements. WATS enables error detection at an earlier stage, helping you cut costs.

WATS

A test station collects data about products using National Instruments TestStand. Changing test data is stored on a local database which is interrogated for new test data with changes streamed to a remote database. Data is then displayed using a web server in a format helping you make more informed decisions with live and historical test data, all from your web client.
